Color Perception Test
Try a color perception test that asks you to remember, not just look.
This color perception test starts with a single target color. You have five seconds to notice its hue, saturation and brightness. The target then disappears, leaving you with three sliders and a blank answer swatch. Your task is simple: rebuild the color you remember as closely as you can.
Each round is scored with CIEDE2000, a perceptual color-difference formula designed to reflect visible differences better than a basic RGB comparison. A lower ΔE means your recreated color is closer to the original. Five rounds become one result: Normal, Sharp or Eagle Eye.
Color memory, visual attention, and a repeatable score.
A color perception test is most interesting when it gives you a clear loop: observe, make a choice, see the gap, and try again. This challenge does not diagnose color vision or make medical claims. It gives you a consistent way to compare your own attempts on the same device and screen settings.
Take a second run if you want to test a different approach. Some players focus on whether the target feels warm or cool; others remember how vivid it is before they touch the brightness slider. The score is not a percentile or a diagnosis. It is simply the perceptual distance between what appeared and what you rebuilt.

Questions before you start.
Is this color perception test free?
Yes. You can play every challenge in the browser without an account.
How is a color perception test score calculated?
Each answer is compared with its target using CIEDE2000 ΔE. Lower total difference across five rounds is better.
Why does my score change on another screen?
Brightness, calibration, color profiles, browser rendering and room lighting can all change the colors you see.
